Here are some quotes that should most certainly make you think…

Henrick Lorentz

“Briefly, everything occurs as if the Earth were at rest…”

Arthur C. Clarke

“Equations, however impressive and complex, cannot arrive at the truth if the initial assumptions are incorrect.”

“It is really quite amazing by what margins competent but conservative scientists and engineers can miss the mark, when they start with the preconceived idea that what they are investigating is impossible. When this happens, the most well-informed men become blinded by their prejudices and are unable to see what lies directly ahead of them.”

Marilyn vos Savant

“If the speed of light were discovered not to be constant, modern scientific theory would be devastated.”

Leo Tolstoy

“I know that most men…can seldom accept even the simplest and most obvious truth if it be such as would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions which they have delighted in explaining to colleagues, which they have proudly taught to others, and which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabric of their lives.”

Carl Sagan

“We are unreconstructed geocentrists hiding behind a Copernican veneer.”

Herbert Friedman

“Perhaps it is time for astronomers to pause and wonder whether they know too much and understand too little.”

St. Augustine

“Wrong is wrong even if everybody’s doing it, and right is right, even if nobody’s doing it.”

Francis Bacon

“If it be granted that the Earth moves, it would seem more natural to suppose that there is no system at all, but only scattered globes, than to construct a system of which the sun is the center”

“It were better to have no opinion of God at all, than such an opinion, as is unworthy of him.”

“Nothing doth more hurt in a state than that cunning men pass for wise.”

Albert Einstein

“If Michelson-Morley is wrong, then Relativity is wrong.”

“I have come to believe that the motion of the Earth cannot be detected by any optical experiment.”

“As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain, and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality.”

“Human knowledge and skills alone cannot lead humanity to a happy and dignified life. Humanity has every reason to place the proclaimers of high moral standards and values above the discoverers of objective truth.”

“It follows from this that our notions of physical reality can never be final. We must always be ready to change these notions.”

Nikola Tesla

“Today’s scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality.”

“That electrical energy can be economically transmitted without wires to any terrestrial distance, I have unmistakably established in numerous observations, experiments and measurements, qualitative and quantitative. These have demonstrated that is practicable to distribute power from a central plant in unlimited amounts, with a loss not exceeding a small fraction of one per cent, in the transmission, even to the greatest distance, twelve thousand miles — to the opposite end of the globe.”

“I hold that space cannot be curved, for the simple reason that it can have no properties. It might as well be said that God has properties. He has not, but only attributes and these are of our own making. Of properties we can only speak when dealing with matter filling the space. To say that in the presence of large bodies space becomes curved is equivalent to stating that something can act upon nothing. I, for one, refuse to subscribe to such a view.”

“An unalterable rotational velocity thru all phases of planetary evolution is manifestly impossible. The truth is, the so-called “axial rotation” of the moon is a phenomenon deceptive alike to the eye and mind and devoid of physical meaning. The moon does rotate, not on its own, but about an axis passing thru the center of the earth, the true and only one.”

“Though free to think and act, we are held together like the stars in the firmament, with ties inseparable. These ties cannot be seen, but we can feel them, each of us is only part of a whole.” ~Nikola Tesla

As has happened to me before and I am sure will happen again. Many quotes are sometimes applied to an incorrect person… and this needs to stop. I hate liars and whomever said that Tesla said the following two quotes needs to find where or apologize for saying something that others believed and repeated… including myself. I can’t blame others though, as it is my fault for not following up. Until told otherwise Nicola Tesla DID NOT say these next two quotes…

“Earth is a realm, it is not a planet. It is not an object, therefore, it has no edge. Earth would be more easily defined as a system environment. Earth is also a machine, it is a Tesla coil. The sun and moon are powered wirelessly with the electromagnetic field (the Aether). This field also suspends the celestial spheres with electo-magnetic levitation. Electromagnetic levitation disproves gravity because the only force you need to counter is the electromagnetic force, not gravity. The stars are attached to the FIRMAMENT.” ~ NOT Nikola Tesla

“If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” ~ NOT Nikola Tesla
